Mass Effect 3: Take back Earth Trailer

The Mass Effect 3 demo (which I know you’ve all played by now) gave you a little taste of what is to come but in the latest trailer from Bioware we’re reminded of the human cost of the war for Earth. The entire series has been a masterpiece, and I am happy to sit down and argue that point with anyone who disagrees. Some may complain that it’s neither action RPG or FPS. But Mass Effect 3 has always pushed the boundaries of story telling to the raw and bleeding edge. This will be a truly amazing end to the saga

Any video containing a child’s death (or implied death in this case) will be fraught with controversy but there is not a moment of this that did not feel relevant to the story portrayed by Bioware for Mass Effect 3. Better yet, I had to remind myself at times that this was CGI and not a live action video like the amazing Halo teasers from ODST and Reach. A Mass Effect 3 movie is something I would happily pay to see. And based on this video, actors are not essential for a successful version because Bioware has already created something that looks and feels real.

It’s amazing, powerful and best of all suggests that fighting for Earth will be more than just a small set piece but a major offensive worthy of the final game.
